Mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy uses inflatable chambers.  Inflatable hyperbaric chambers achieve lower atmospheric pressures than what can be achieved in "hard-shell" hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers. Our inflatable Vitaeris 320 achieves 1.25-1.28 ATA or 4 psi.

Insurance companies are starting to cover hyperbaric oxygen therapy.  For example, Medicare covers this therapy for many conditions, but sometimes only in a hospital. 3. Request a prescription that includes recommendations for the following:

    a.  oxygen face mask  (we use 99.8 % medical grade oxygen)

    b.  liters/minute (4-6 lpm is common)

    c.  how long to spend in the chamber (typically 60-90 minutes)

    d.  how often to get in the chamber (depends on the condition, ex. 2-6 times per week)
